Dingfu Mansion PV Energy Reserve and Charging Station--- Guilin’s first zero-carbon PV and energy storage integrated demonstrative station completed by Shenzhen CEGN Co., Ltd. (CEGN) has been put into operation officially.

The station consists of 350kW roof PV and 1MWh energy storage. There’re 138 sets of charging terminals, including 88 sets of AC piles, and 22 sets of DC piles, with a total power of 3,439kW, providing service for 138 electric vehicles simultaneously.

Since cooperation with Guilin CIH in 2020, CEGN has been focusing on every detail from facilities to overall design scheme and site construction, so as to finally deliver this project with a high standard and explore the integrated mode of “PV + energy storage + automobile charging ” together.

The power station is another practice for the construction of PV energy storage and charging integrated charging station. Power is supplied to energy storage charging station during the off-peak period at night, and power is supplied to charging facilities by energy storage power station during peak period in the daytime, which could lower the occupation of high power charging facilities on power grid resources and influence on power grid significantly and reduce carbon dioxide emission in multiple ways.

The power station is fitted with many technologies such as intelligent charging and generating of charging piles, energy storage battery with a large capacity and PV power generation. PV energy storage system could store energy during off-peak period and generate power during peak period, with 1,000kWh power supplied to charging station every day, and 365,000 kWh power supplied to the charging station every year. 

CEGN’s PV energy storage and charging integrated system has been integrated with PV power generation, energy storage, microgrid control, automobile charging and users’ rest, and has fully combined the PV power generation, intelligent charging piles and power station, realizing production of local energy and the regulation and control of electrical load through storing energy and optimizing configuration.

China has become the world’s largest electric automobile market, in which new energy will occupy a larger proportion and charging demand will increase further in the future. The construction mode of “PV energy storage and charging” power grid with full integration and high flexibility could not only satisfy power utilization during peak period and supply power during the off-peak period, but solve the intermittency and instability problems of new energy generation, reducing the dependence on traditional energy sources dramatically and improving energy efficiency. It is the very way to utilize sustainable energy and complies with the development trend in the future.
